The Verdict is a ship in MCST. This Speedster Class ship is highly unconventional, as a ramming speedster. The Verdict has one of the highest masses in the speedster class, rivaling fighters and some support classes, as well as very high shielding for a speedster, and high mobility. However, this comes with the downside of having very weak guns and lower energy than most speedsters. It has a strong dash, which in combination with its high mass lets it knock back even heavy class ships a reasonable amount.
Overall, this ship is very strong against all ships (except heavy and agile ships like Barracuda, Hammerhead, and Draconite) as long as there are enough asteroids nearby, though it struggles a lot against other speedsters in sparse asteroid fields. In cases like this, it is best to use the unlimited dash (185 speed) to escape to a dense asteroid field and hope they follow you, in which case you can easily kill them.
As of 1.4, this ship is said to have been dethroned in the mod code. This likely means a nerf.
