Starblast.io or Starblast is a multiplayer shooting game created and developed by Neuronality. It can be played on the original site or on the standalone client, available to players owning a copy of Starblast on steam and downloadable from the original website by ECP owners. You can also get the game on iTunes and Google play as of April 2018. However, there are no ECPs in those platforms yet.^{(may be outdated)}

Description

In Starblast, you navigate your player-controlled ship through an asteroid filled map. Your mission is to complete various objectives depending upon the game mode; lead your team to victory, be the last survivor, defeat the alien hordes, or climb the championship rankings. Asteroids can be mined either by being shot or rammed by the player. Upon being broken, they yield gems. These gems can either be used to upgrade the player's ship, buy secondary weapons or, when the gem cargo is filled, upgrade to one of the two available ships of the next tier. There are currently 7 different tiers of ships in vanilla Starblast throughout which 32 different ships can be found. The newest ships are FuryStar (Tier 5), Bastion (Tier 7), Vanguard (Tier 4), Marauder (Tier 6), and the Howler (Tier 5). There were just 21 ships when the game came out in 2016.

There are currently four game modes available to be played via the main menu; Survival, Team mode, Deathmatch, and Invasion. Upon selecting a game mode in the main menu, the player is automatically connected to a server of the corresponding game mode and region. Players that either own the standalone client or an ECP will be able to create custom matches where they can edit certain parameters to customize their experience. Such games can only be joined through accessing the link to the private game provided upon creation. There is also a mod editor for those with some basic coding experience that can allow a player to create their own mods and design their own ships to be used in those mods; having an ECP unlocks this feature. Modding space is featured on the main menu , a place where community-made mods can be played by anyone, cycling in and out on a timer that spans a few days; each mod is active for between four and eight hours at a time.
