The U-Speeder is a Tier 4 ship in the U-Series mod. It has a dual cannon at the front which fires two pulses and a cannon at the back which rapidly fires a low damage pulse. The back cannon's recoil allows this ship to propel itself forward at insane speeds. However agility is a weakness. it can't make tight turns very well, and is purely and offensive-styled ship. You are recommended to start off upgrading either Ship Speed or Energy Regeneration. Damage doesn't affect the rear cannons, so upgrading it helps to waste less energy when attacking. This ship is surprisingly tanky and is the predecessor to the U-Afterburn.
This ship is the reverse of the U-Interceptor, with the 2 more stronger pulses at the front rather than the back and the lesser pulse at the back instead of at the front.
Upgrading damage is recommended, as the rear cannon is unaffected.
It is difficult, but this ship beats the U-Arsenal and U-Siege. Attack them from behind and be careful, as they can stunlock and kill the U-Speeder because of low shield and mass. If you are not skilled enough, just avoid them.
This ship mines faster than its successors, so it is recommended to mine the Lvl 3 base half-way or even fully to Lvl 4 before upgrading to a Lvl 5 ship. This ship has a bigger sight range than the Trailblazer too. But if you are very good at pvp, upgrading to Lvl 5 and killing enemies for gems can mine the base to Lvl 4 faster.
If you can survive an attacker's initial blast of damage, the cannons can easily tear chunks off the other ship killing them or at the very least making them pay.
When fully upgraded, the shot pattern is this: 2 shots from front, short pause with rear cannons firing, two more front shots before you are out of energy.
The ships in the miner series are surprisingly fragile to this ship due to their low agility, but if this ship gets stunlocked by their frontal steam of pulses, it will die or lose most gems while escaping. Never attack a miner from the front as a speedster without full shield and at least 100 gems, even if it takes 20 seconds to recharge. If you do not have enough health, you should surprise attack them from behind, but if they turn off RCS to move one way and actually face your way, they'll surprise attack you when you try to attack them.
